Developed by a veterinarian, Soft Paws® nail caps are made in the USA using non-toxic vinyl. The nail caps are applied to your cat's claws using a non-toxic, cold-bonding, veterinary-grade adhesive, and are a completely safe and humane solution to cat scratching problems. Soft Paws do not interfere with the normal extension and retraction of claws, and most cats don't even know they are wearing them.

Each Soft Paws® kit contains 40 nail caps, 2 tubes of adhesive, applicator tips, and easy-to-follow instructions. One kit contains enough for 4 front paw applications and each application lasts approximately 4 to 6 weeks, which makes each kit lasts approximately 4 to 6 months.
Small Size: (Approximately 6 months old — Approximately 6-8 pounds)
Some kittens at 5 months may need the small size if they are growing fast, or are large-breed cats.
Small-boned, adult cats often wear the small size. If your cat seems smaller than an average, full-grown cat, choose small.

Great product, easy to use

I bought these so I wouldn't have to declaw my cat. I don't want to put her through the pain, but also don't want my new furniture to get ruined. These are a great solution, I have had them on her for a little over a week, and so far, I have only had to replace 4 of the caps. This may be due to her biting them, but I know for sure one just wasn't glued on enough and popped off. I love the fact that she can't scratch me or my furniture. Great idea

Excellent product. We have been using Soft Paws for several years on our cat who likes to shred the furniture & carpets. They are easy to put on & last til the nail grows our & needs to be trimmed..
The best part is they are made in the USA. Good company--fast shipping--very reliable product. -
Humane solution

Soft paws is an excellent alternative to declawing; after the first application, maintenance is easy to keep up with. Some cats seem to smell the glue and you may have to distract them for a few minutes after application.

These are lifesavers for me. As a transplant patient, I have to be vigilant about skin injuries. These nail caps make it possible for me to still enjoy having the love and comfort of my cat.

Love these caps! Our new kitten seems to do everything with his claws and this has saved my legs. The blue is easy to see when one comes off.

We have adopted a rescue feral kitten and these have been a life saver. She's been very timid and scared and on adopting her she caused a lot of agony for my dear husband who required antibiotic when kitten attacked. Over a week I won her trust so she sits on my lap and I gently massaged her paws getting her used to being touched. She fell asleep in my lap and while she was napping I got all soft paws on her with no issues. Not only are we safe from scratches but our older cat and furniture are as well.

Soft paws are a lifesaver! All the loving kitten cuts on my arms now have a chance to heal up, and my couch and bed are no longer torn up. The caps were easy to apply too. My only gripe is that they don't last very long at all; most caps fall off before 4 weeks, while some stay on much longer, which creates a period of time where you have to deal with the claws before replacing the caps.

I was skeptical about these at first, thinking they'd hurt the cats or they'd get them off quickly and the first time I put them on they faught me and got them off in a week but the second time they sat much better (I was probably better too) and they stay on around a month. I only put them on the front claws as that is what they scratch with. The second they were on the second time, they were pros and didn't act like they cared about them at all. This is my 3rd time buying them and I use them on 2 of my cats.

These are incredibly easy to put on, which is a blessing! After the first application I checked the next day to see how they were holding up, and my car had chewed off/lost 3. I re applied, and it's been 2 weeks now with no issues whatsoever. I would have never gotten my cats de clawed so this was the only solution to a huge problem of them ruining my furniture.. and it worked way better than expected and I'm very pleased.
