Product Description

Solve Your Cat Scratching Problems Using Original, Authentic, Soft Paws—Made in the U.S.A.

Developed by a veterinarian, Soft Paws® nail caps are made in the USA using non-toxic vinyl. The nail caps are applied to your cat's claws using a non-toxic, cold-bonding, veterinary-grade adhesive, and are a completely safe and humane solution to cat scratching problems. Soft Paws do not interfere with the normal extension and retraction of claws, and most cats don't even know they are wearing them.

Economical Price
Only $19.95 per package for a 4 to 6 month supply.

Each Soft Paws® kit contains 40 nail caps, 2 tubes of adhesive, applicator tips, and easy-to-follow instructions. One kit contains enough for 4 front paw applications and each application lasts approximately 4 to 6 weeks, which makes each kit lasts approximately 4 to 6 months.

Small Size: (Approximately 6 months old — Approximately 6-8 pounds)

Some kittens at 5 months may need the small size if they are growing fast, or are large-breed cats.

Small-boned, adult cats often wear the small size. If your cat seems smaller than an average, full-grown cat, choose small.

  1. WORK GREAT!!!!!!

Posted by Susan on 3rd Nov 2014

Love Soft Paws and having the alternative to declawing. Easy to put on and they stay on. Colors are fun. Wish I had known about them a long time ago!

  2. Fashionable AND Functional

Posted by DB on 3rd Nov 2014

My almost-six-month-old Tuxedo kitten Simon is about six pounds, has "cat-sized" paws and nails, and has grown into the size small Soft Paws quite nicely (I started with the Kitten size the minute I adopted him in August when he was considerably tinier). At first, I had to wait until he was sleeping to apply them then make sure he didn't spend the next several hours actively trying to chew them off. It took a few weeks of persistent application, but now he's quite comfortable in them and getting more and more easygoing about application with every set. Right now, he's outfitted in the dark green ones (appropriate for the holidays AND for cheering on Michigan State football), but we may go for something a little fancier for winter (black? Glitter? Where is the line between "fancy" and "totally emasculating?" Stay tuned.)

Simon is a ball of spastic kitten energy. At his craziest (usually in the evenings, when he knows I'm tired and not interested in running after him), he pinballs around the house using his claws to cartwheel over the furniture, clang across the piano keys, scale the birdcages (much to the horror of my two tropical parrots), and latch onto my legs in a sneak attack as I attempt to wrangle him into his bedroom. My furniture, my parrots, AND my flesh would be in considerably worse condition without SoftPaws. They allow him to grip and maintain his balance (and in a pinch he'd be able to climb to safety in a tree if he managed to escape unaccompanied into the backyard) without the destructiveness (and pain!) of his needle-like nails. Terrific invention, totally worth the price ($18.95 vs. expensive, inhumane de-clawing surgery or the price of a new couch? No-brainer!), and adorable-looking to boot! Highly recommend.

  3. Amazing alternative to de-clawing

Posted by Emily on 30th Oct 2014

I bought small nail caps for my cat. This product is a great alternative to de-clawing cats. She doesn't claw the furniture anymore and she doesn't mind them on her claws. Definitely met my expectations, would recommend.

  4. Great product!

I purchased soft paws for our kitten. They have worked wonderfully and my daughter can now play with the kitten without fear of being clawed. The kitten does not mind having soft paws on. The application process is simple and easy. Thank you for such a great product!!!
