Product Description

Solve Your Cat Scratching Problems Using Original, Authentic, Soft Paws—Made in the U.S.A.

Developed by a veterinarian, Soft Paws® nail caps are made in the USA using non-toxic vinyl. The nail caps are applied to your cat's claws using a non-toxic, cold-bonding, veterinary-grade adhesive, and are a completely safe and humane solution to cat scratching problems. Soft Paws do not interfere with the normal extension and retraction of claws, and most cats don't even know they are wearing them.

Economical Price
Only $19.95 per package for a 4 to 6 month supply.

Each Soft Paws® kit contains 40 nail caps, 2 tubes of adhesive, applicator tips, and easy-to-follow instructions. One kit contains enough for 4 front paw applications and each application lasts approximately 4 to 6 weeks, which makes each kit lasts approximately 4 to 6 months.

Small Size: (Approximately 6 months old — Approximately 6-8 pounds)

Some kittens at 5 months may need the small size if they are growing fast, or are large-breed cats.

Small-boned, adult cats often wear the small size. If your cat seems smaller than an average, full-grown cat, choose small.

  1. Great Product for a Finicky Cat

Posted by Laura on 3rd Mar 2015

My cat often protests two new items such as collars or harnesses, so I was concerned he would take a while to get used to his soft paws. However, it took him less than a day to stop picking at them. I was very impressed. They are durable and have served us well so far!

  2. Great product and easy to use

Posted by Kelsey Zelazoski on 3rd Mar 2015

I was a little skeptical about these when a friend told me about them. She worked at a vet clinic for years and offered to show me how to put them on. All went smoothly and 2 weeks later they are all still on! Oddly enough, my 6 month old very hyper kitten has seemed to calm down about 5 levels!! She isn't scratching my daughter anymore so we are all a happy family!

  3. We love Soft Paws!

Posted by Laurel on 27th Feb 2015

Both of our cats wear SoftPaws, and it has saved our furniture and rugs! Our cats are both quite cooperative with having Soft Paws applied. We've discovered that the most effective way to do so is with two people - my daughter holds kitty on her lap facing outward while I go to work applying the caps. It may be a bit of extra time and expense, but it beats the alternative of declawing, which is cruel and unhealthy for the kitty.

  4. Uncooperative cat

Posted by Unknown on 18th Feb 2015

It's hard to tell how well these work since my cat won't let me put them on her! We tried to put them on when she was still drugged after she was spayed, and even then she resisted. A few stayed on, but they weren't as easy to slip on as I'd hoped. To get them firmly in place, I feel I'd have to squeeze her paw too hard. Our belongings are ragged; declawing may have been the best option for this kitten.

  5. Definitely worth the try!

Posted by Tam D. on 28th Jan 2015

My cat Stella is 8 months old and is quite frisky with her claws. I chose Soft Paws not only for the quality of the covers but the quality of the glue as well. The first three days I had replaced about five covers, afterwards Stella would try to nibble and I discouraged it every time. It has been a week now and Stella is doing very well with her new soft paws. My trick for getting them onto my kitten, wrap her in a towel. Soon enough she gives in and let's me do my job. :)

  6. Great product

I've been using softpaws for my indoors kitties for years. This is a great product, and I love the colors.

  7. Best Out There

Posted by Brittany on 23rd Dec 2014

I've tried several types of nail caps and these are hands down the most durable, best looking, and longest lasting. They're definitely worth the little extra they cost over their competitors.

  8. saved the couch

Posted by Renee on 15th Dec 2014

We have just purchased a new living room set as our 13 year old cat had destroyed the old one. I was quite nervous about the new one, so I ordered Soft Paws and was thrilled to have them arrive the same day as the new couch set. The Soft Paws were easy to put on and "Tinkerbell" didn't mind them at all. The first time she jumped up onto the couch to try and scratch, she never even made a mark on the upholstery. I'm very happy

  9. Great alternative!

Posted by Unknown on 10th Dec 2014

So far so good! It's been a week and my cat is not trying to remove them and they are not falling either. It is a great, cheap and humane alternative to the surgery and I'm saving on furniture and pain! I'm recommending this product to all my cat-owner friends!

  10. No more bleeding

Posted by Alice on 10th Dec 2014

I got softpaws for my kitten who scratched me every few days, playing rough. I am elderly with thin skin. Soft paws is exceptional in protecting us both. I am glad I found this product.
