Product Description

Solve Your Cat Scratching Problems Using Original, Authentic, Soft Paws—Made in the U.S.A.

Developed by a veterinarian, Soft Paws® nail caps are made in the USA using non-toxic vinyl. The nail caps are applied to your cat's claws using a non-toxic, cold-bonding, veterinary-grade adhesive, and are a completely safe and humane solution to cat scratching problems. Soft Paws do not interfere with the normal extension and retraction of claws, and most cats don't even know they are wearing them.

Economical Price
Only $19.95 per package for a 4 to 6 month supply.

Each Soft Paws® kit contains 40 nail caps, 2 tubes of adhesive, applicator tips, and easy-to-follow instructions. One kit contains enough for 4 front paw applications and each application lasts approximately 4 to 6 weeks, which makes each kit lasts approximately 4 to 6 months.

Small Size: (Approximately 6 months old — Approximately 6-8 pounds)

Some kittens at 5 months may need the small size if they are growing fast, or are large-breed cats.

Small-boned, adult cats often wear the small size. If your cat seems smaller than an average, full-grown cat, choose small.

  1. Work well but not super. Expensive to get for Canadians.

Posted by Unknown on 1st Dec 2015

They work ok but lots fall off. And your cat wil still be able to stratch and damage things or rip furniture, just not quite as bad. If you use them on front and back nails the pack won't last long. The pack is not enough for 2 applications. It comes with about 40 caps. 18 needed to cover all the nails. End up having to redo about 5-10 within the first week. Then 2-3 fall off each week after that. So each pack lasts about a month to 5 weeks max. With the crappy exchange rate I'm paying over $40 to get one pack to Canada. That adds up to almost $500 per year.

  2. Don't go another day without this product!

  3. Love it

Soft Paws allowed me to get a kitten. We just got new leather furniture and would not have gotten a kitten if it weren't for the nail caps. I found the kitten sized caps constantly fell off only a few would stay on for a decent time. The small size has stayed on since I put them on two weeks ago not one has fallen off. The only downfall to them is it is difficult to get them on my Bones. At first it was a struggle. I am know able to easily put the front ones one. The back paws are another story, Bones turns to Devil.

  5. Size Matters!

Posted by Emily on 19th Oct 2015

I love soft paws! We used them on my previous cat for many many years and they worked perfect. Saved my things and was humane. However.. With my new 7 month old cat I just received my order, size smalls, but they are so ridiculously small I think I need to size up ASAP. Wish I had known they run soooo small. Order size up, it matters! Save time and $$

  6. Seems too good to be true

When I first checked into Soft Paws, I thought that there was no way my cats would go for it. I continue to be amazed at how easily the caps slide on the claws and how well the cats accept them. Fantastic product.

  7. Worth a shot!

I was hesitant to try this, but it seemed a healthier and less controversial way to get rid of the constant clawing at my legs, rugs, and furniture. Worked like a charm! I put them on last wk, and have had one fall off, not sure how, but quickly replaced it and all is good. The kitten can not get them off, that I can see. The glue is CRAZY strong, so be careful of getting it on your person or the cat's fur. So you'll probably go thru a few your first round, but it's super easy to put them on.

  8. Works, but he snags

Posted by Lisa on 14th Sep 2015

The Softpaws work great for keeping our skin intact from our little one's claws. Unfortunately, he can no longer use the scratching post he loved so much. The Softpaws get him caught in it, and we've had to cut him loose twice in the last week.

  9. Average

Posted by Jerry Sosa on 14th Sep 2015

I bought soft paws as a last resort. My almost 1 year old cats are destroying my furniture. I don't want to declaw them. I am somewhat against it...but the more they destroy the less I feel that way. But for now, I do not plan on declawing them. So I tried these on hoping it was going to work. I used a small on both my cats. One is slightly larger than the other. The larger cat has bigger claws, but the smaller cat has smaller and sharper claws.

We put them on one day, and the next day each cat was missing several caps. I did read that cats have to get used to these. But we've been putting them on for a couple weeks now and they still try to bite them off.

What I am thinking is that with my cats, they get a lot of "hang nails/claws". That extra piece of claw that flakes off. Well I think the glue sticks to that and not the actual claw. So It makes it pretty easy for them to take them off.

One instance, I am assuming one of my cats tried a little to hard to bite the cap off and he hurt himself. He tore off a little to much of the claw and it made him bleed just a little bit. But his claw was very sensitive for the next few days.

I don't know if I should get a medium size caps for the next time. But for now, I wasn't too happy with the product. The product was too expensive for the cats to only be wearing them 50% of the time.

    Thanks,

    jerry

  10. Small kitten softpaws

Posted by Debbie on 1st Sep 2015

I purchased the clear ones, as using this was new to me and with the kitten size I purchased first, I couldn't tell if they fit. With the clear I was sure I had sufficient glue in the cover and that it fit! There were no meows of complaints as I out them on!!
