My cat adapted really well with not much of a reaction . She doesn't even seem to realise that it's on her. The colors are really vibrant and there are a plethora of options to choose from . Would definitely purchase more again !

Soft Paws were recommended by our vet as an option to declawing. We also found out that our niece was using them for both of her cats and highly recommended the product. We got our first set for our little rescued kitten and they were amazing! No ruined furniture or rugs. Amazing product, I wish they were around 25 years ago when I had my cat declawed. Thank you!

Customer service was amazing, my vet will ONLY use Soft Paws, that's how I heard about them. My experience has been amazing, and my furniture thanks you! I will have a standing appt at my vet now!

Toast was feral, so he uses his claws to communicate with us a lot. Soft paws have prevented scratches and he’s already so good with the application process after only two applications. Would highly recommend these!

These were pretty easy to put on our cat (though she definitely didn't like it the first time), and they mostly stayed on pretty well! She hasn't been scratching the carpet since we put them on, which was our goal.

Sam kitty has very sharp claws and knows how to use em! Soft Paws keep everyone safe including his 121 pound Akita brother. We had the vet put them on in case Sam kitty figured out where any major arteries are before I could get them on. (vet techs got them on in minutes!) Finally all my wounds are able to heal! It's been a little over a week and the caps are still on! He looks great in his Halloween Orange Soft Paws! He doesn't seem to be bothered by them. I was surprised because he's bothered by his own fur! That's why he wears a shirt! He plucks his fur. Anyway, I'm so glad I found this site. I'll be ordering more every time he needs them!

Great!

Easy to apply. My cat doesnt seem to notice them at all and saves my furniture from being further destroyed!

I'm sure they'd be great if I could get them on my cat

My cat doesn't like to be held. She's as slippery as a fish. I can roll her up like a burrito, I can hold her sweetly on her back, two of us can hold her down... theres nothing we can do to hold her still enough to even touch her paw, let alone clip them to prepare for soft paws. I should have known better. All those videos of "difficult cats" yeah, they don't know Cranberry.
Message from Soft Paws:
You might want to try, very slowly, just getting Cranberry used to having her paws handled. Each day pet her paws and reward her with a treat or love or whatever she likes best.
Gradually working up to trying to handle her paws more and more.
Alternatively, you might want to see if your groomer or vet could apply them for you. Please contact us with any questions. -
Great product

Have used this before when I had two cats (medium and large). Recently mentioned product to the vet when my cat was sick; she said they use it all the time. Soft Paws saves the furniture and comforters PLUS reduces the stress of needing to reprimand cat whenever he scratches where he's not supposed to. Relatively easy to apply and stay put for a while!

Really great easy care product for my precious babies and my leather furniture
Kind of easy to install but hard when you yourself have long nails but got around that -
Better than declawing!!

These softPaws work well for all four of my felines. Once they get use to them, some of them actually show that they like them.

Excellent purchase!

Soft Paws was delivered to me quickly with very clear instructions for super easy application! Not only does my boy look beautiful with his blue nails, I think he feels fancy! He doesn't mind them at all, they seem to be very comfortable! It's been two weeks and all caps are still on! No issues with them coming unglued or him biting them! My only regret is that I didn't order them sooner!

Small too small, medium too big
Posted by Unknown on 31st Jul 2017
I love Soft Paws! They have saved my expensive leather upholstery from my 2 house cats. I would though like to see an in-between size. The small size is too small, and the medium is too big to fit properly. I must have frisky cats because I need the assistance of my vet to put them on every 4-6 weeks.

fantastic substitute for surgery

Miss Patches had no objection to having the nails glued on. She would have preferred pink. All but 1 have been on since July 15.

Great product

Just as advertised. I have used them for several years now. They protect my furniture. They do not interfere with the normal extension and retraction of the claws. My cats don't seem to mind them at all. One of my cats was also a registered pet therapy cat and used to regularly visit elderly people in a nursing home. Elderly people tend to have very thin, fragile skin, and the Soft Paws were an extra safety precaution.

size wrong?
Posted by Unknown on 26th Jul 2017
Hi,
I would suggest offering a few trial sizes as I had no way of knowing what size claws my 15 year old has .
MESSAGE FROM SOFT PAWS:
Thank you for your comments. If there is a problem with the size you ordered, please contact us for an exchange.
We do have size guidelines here: https://www.softpaws.com/size-guidelines-for-cats/
Kitten: Less than 6 months old
Soft Paws will fit most kittens by the time they reach the age of 16 weeks (4 months). Some kittens can wear them as early as age 12 weeks (3 months) . To test, try a nail cap on first without the adhesive. If it looks too big, don't glue it on. The nail cap should fit snugly, like a glove.
To accommodate smaller kittens, you can trim the base (open end) of the Soft Paws nail cap, making it smaller so it will fit your kitten's nail.
Kittens up to about 5 pounds and 5 months of age generally fit the kitten size. Some kittens at 5 months may need the small size rather than the kitten size if they are growing fast or are large-breed cats.
Small: Approximately 6 months old / Approximately 6-8 pounds
In general, the small-sized Soft Paws® will fit cats that are approximately 6 months of age and about 6-8 pounds.
Small-boned adult cats may wear the small size. If your cat seems smaller than an average full-grown cat, choose small.
Medium: Approximately 9-13 pounds
Most adult average size cats wear medium.
Large: Approximately 14 pounds and up.
Very large-boned and large-breed cats wear large. Maine Coons, for example, are very large cats and generally wear large.
