Product Description

Solve Your Cat Scratching Problems Using Original, Authentic, Soft Paws--Made in the U.S.A.

Developed by a veterinarian, Soft Paws® nail caps are made in the USA using non-toxic vinyl. The nail caps are applied to your cat's claws using a non-toxic, cold-bonding, veterinary-grade adhesive, and are a completely safe and humane solution to cat scratching problems. Soft Paws do not interfere with the normal extension and retraction of claws, and most cats don't even know they are wearing them.

Economical Price
Only $19.95 per package for a 4 to 6 month supply.

Each Soft Paws® kit contains 40 nail caps, 2 tubes of adhesive, applicator tips, and easy-to-follow instructions. One kit contains enough for 4 front paw applications and each application lasts approximately 4 to 6 weeks, which makes each kit lasts approximately 4 to 6 months.

Large Size: (Approximately 14 pounds and up)

Very large-boned and large-breed cats wear large. Maine Coons, for example, are very large cats and generally wear large.

Note: "Large" refers to how big-boned your breed of cat is, not how obese your cat may be. Fat cats have the same size claws as slim cats.

  1. Great product

Our cat grew out of the medium size Soft Paws, so we moved to the large size, and they work great. Now that we have the right size, our cat can't pull them off.

  2. Works Great!

Posted by Kurt on 25th May 2016

I wish we had found these three chairs ago! Our cats destroyed three great fabric chairs we had an we've only been able to buy leather furniture. Nothing upholstered lasted. With Soft Paws they cats can't scratch up the furniture.

I was skeptical about applying them and having them last. Application was easy with two of us. One of us held the car and depressed her paws while the other slipped on the covers. It has been 3 weeks and they are all still on and the cats don't mind them at all! They still "scratch" at stuff, but can do no damage!

  3. soft paws

I have been using softpaws for almost 2 yrs on my 5 feline babies. It took a few times for all of us to get use to putting them on but now it takes very little time and i very much enjoy not getting accidentally scratched. And my furniture is in much better condition :-)

  4. Poor quality control on size

Posted by mark on 8th Apr 2016

Love the product but we frequently have to toss out about 10% because we order large sized and every time a number of them are clearly small. Over the years we've bought over 20 boxes for 6 large cats and I don't think I've ever seen a box without some bad ones. (In fact, the "large" box I received last week is 100% "small".) Good product but they really need to resolve the quality control issues.

  5. Brilliant Product!

Such a genius idea! They work so well to cover my cats claws.
One of my cats can get quite grumpy, especially with visiting dogs. She'd deaf so quite hard to discipline. After an unfortunate incident where she scratched a dog near the eye I researched and found these claw covers.
They work brilliantly, covering up her claws and blunting them so she can't hurt any other animals. She doesn't much like having them put on, but once they're in place they don't seem to bother her at all.
A happy side effect is a massive reduction in the amount of damage to my curtains and furniture! Stroking her belly is also a much less dangerous activity :-) They've worked so well I'm trying them on my other cat, who seems to be taking to them just as well.

Problems - not many, really. Mostly it's the application. Getting the glue into the covers is tricky, as is pinching the covers to get them onto the claw. My cats are long haired and I have had trouble with hairs getting caught in the glue. When I've done a full set at least a couple have fallen off in the first couple of hours. Another couple have stubbornly stayed on longer than I'd like (I have trimmed off the ends). So, mostly good but room for improvement.

  6. No need to declaw your cat

Love soft paws. My cat does very good with them. He no problem when I put them on him. Just sits there and let's me.

  7. Keeps my cat from scratching my furniture

Posted by Unknown on 10th Feb 2016

One of my 2 adult adopted cats scratches my furniture, this solved my problem, and is kind of fun to change the colors!

  8. Soft Claws - Ultimate Protection

Posted by Steve on 2nd Feb 2016

I have been using soft claws for well over a decade. Each of my six cats have a different color so I can ID the loose one on the floor. Protects my furniture and anyone handling the cat. Most of my cats like them, especially the ones who were introduced to them as kittens, but my former feral male now cooperates when I apply the caps. They last on the cat's claws for three to four weeks and are a superior alternative to expensive and evasive declawing.

  9. softpaws are easy to use and save the furniture from destructive scratching

Posted by Unknown on 28th Jan 2016

Colorful, easily applied, plastic claw covers eliminate furniture damage from scratching. I would prefer a gel adhesive but manage with the thinner glue.

  10. Awesome

Posted by christina on 19th Jan 2016

I wasn't convinced this product would stay put, but other than the random one, they stay on really well and at least 4 weeks. They also adhere really quickly which is great.
