Product Description
Solve Your Cat Scratching Problems Using Original, Authentic, Soft Paws--Made in the U.S.A.
Developed by a veterinarian, Soft Paws® nail caps are made in the USA using non-toxic vinyl. The nail caps are applied to your cat's claws using a non-toxic, cold-bonding, veterinary-grade adhesive, and are a completely safe and humane solution to cat scratching problems. Soft Paws do not interfere with the normal extension and retraction of claws, and most cats don't even know they are wearing them.
Economical Price
Only $19.95 per package for a 4 to 6 month supply.
Each Soft Paws® kit contains 40 nail caps, 2 tubes of adhesive, applicator tips, and easy-to-follow instructions. One kit contains enough for 4 front paw applications and each application lasts approximately 4 to 6 weeks, which makes each kit lasts approximately 4 to 6 months.
Large Size: (Approximately 14 pounds and up)
Very large-boned and large-breed cats wear large. Maine Coons, for example, are very large cats and generally wear large.
Note: "Large" refers to how big-boned your breed of cat is, not how obese your cat may be. Fat cats have the same size claws as slim cats.

Good Fit!
Posted by Avis on 24th Sep 2018
My cat has allergies and she scratches herself. Before I got SoftPaws, she would actually break her skin and tear her hair out. I started putting 2 SoftPaws on her 2 middle nails on her back claws. Since I used them for her back claws, I ordered a large and they fit perfectly.

Cat loves his new claws.

The Soft Paws are getting easier to apply as our elderly cat has gotten used to them. He no longer scratches them off and we apply new ones when his nails grow too long.

cat claw protectors

This is the best invention ever. My cat doesn't particularly like having them put on her, but the minute one grows out and falls off, she attacks the furniture as if she knows she has a "claw", she has many scratching pads, posts, etc. But prefers furniture. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these soft paws and how they've saved my furniture but I love my cat too

Does a fantastic job with an allergic cat
Posted by Liad on 9th May 2018
My cat is allergic to food. Up until we discovered what she has exactly she used to scratch the back of her neck so severely, she now has scar tissues and the hair on the back of her neck would never grow back again. We used to try countless methods to help her stop scratching, pills and band aids and steroids, basically just about every single thing you could imagine. One day my vet suggedted soft paws, and this in fact was the only thing that helped her. She did not stop scratching, but at least she can't hurt herself the way she used to in the past. This thing works like magic. We had the caps glooed to her rear nails. It was difficult at the begining but got much better in time and now I do this all by myself in 2 seconds. I strongly suggest any cat owner who has a cat with similar symptoms to not even stop for a minute and think about it. Use it! It's worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Best Alternative!
Posted by Unicorn House on 4th Apr 2018
We just moved into an apartment and thought it would be a good idea to put these on our cat's toesies. It was a really simple process, the directions were very clear, and the caps fit perfectly onto our hefty boy's claws. It's day two with them on and he still has all of them attached on his front paws! It helps a lot because he likes to scratch up our furniture, pull on the carpet, and will claw at the bottom of the doors if we have them shut. This greatly reduces the damage done to the property, but also reduces the noise as well and don't seem to be bothering him.

Humane solution to claws.

I have two cats and elected to use soft paws instead of declawing. One of my cats does try to pull them off more than the other one. When the glue is at its peak, I have no issues with them staying on. I recommend them to every one with indoor cats.

Great solution for furniture protection
Posted by Unknown on 16th Mar 2018
I first tried Soft Paws with my 9 year old cat about 6 months ago. I was worried he would pull them off immediately and that they wouldn't deter him from his lifelong furniture scratching habit. However, I've been very happy with how well he has adjusted to wearing them. They last for several weeks, and I just have to check his nails every few days and replace caps as needed. They don't bother him at all once they are applied. He doesn't love the application process, but he's come to expect kitty treats once application is finished, so he tolerates it pretty well now. Whenever he loses a cap or two he immediately goes for my couch, and from the damage he's able to inflict with just one or two uncovered nails, I don't want to imagine what my new couch would look like if I hadn't ordered Soft Paws as soon as the new couch was delivered!
*I initially tried Soft Paws in medium, as my cat isn't a Maine Coon or another typically huge breed. But I found that the large caps work best for his nail size. He doesn't have enormous paws, though. He just has big nails (he's also pretty "long' from nose to tail). -
Best caps for cats

I have used Softpaws for both of my cats for five years and they are an excellent product for keeping the cats from damaging furniture or other items with their scratching. A great alternative to use instead of declawing them.
