Product Description
Solve Your Cat Scratching Problems Using Original, Authentic, Soft Paws—Made in the U.S.A.
Developed by a veterinarian, Soft Paws® nail caps are made in the USA using non-toxic vinyl. The nail caps are applied to your cat's claws using a non-toxic, cold-bonding, veterinary-grade adhesive, and are a completely safe and humane solution to cat scratching problems. Soft Paws do not interfere with the normal extension and retraction of claws, and most cats don't even know they are wearing them.
Economical Price
Only $19.95 per package for a 4 to 6 month supply.
Each Soft Paws® kit contains 40 nail caps, 2 tubes of adhesive, applicator tips, and easy-to-follow instructions. One kit contains enough for 4 front paw applications and each application lasts approximately 4 to 6 weeks, which makes each kit lasts approximately 4 to 6 months.
Kitten Size: (Less than 6 months old)
Soft Paws will fit most kittens by the time they reach the age of 16 weeks (4 months). Some kittens can wear them as early as age 12 weeks (3 months) . To test, try a nail cap on first without the adhesive. If it looks too big, don't glue it on. The nail cap should fit snugly, like a glove, but not cover the cuticle.
To accommodate smaller kittens, you can trim the base of the nail cap, making it smaller so it will fit your kitten's nail.
The kitten size generally fits kittens up to about 5 pounds and about 5 months of age.

Did not last long

We took our kitten to the vet to have the soft paws put on and they lasted about a week. Disappointed in this product

Does the job well, but too big.
Posted by SK on 26th Jul 2016
Purchased these for our new 12-week old kitten who was clawing up our furniture. I got the kitten size which is for 12-20 weeks old but it was still too large.
Regardless, they still work well and do the job. My kitten doesn't seem to mind them at all after the first day and don't have to deal with damaged furniture and scratches.

No more scratches!

These are great and a great alternative to declawing. Everyone needs to read what is involved in declawing and they probably wouldn't do it. There is a learning curve with putting these on a kitten/cat. Whether it is trimming the actual cap so that it fits better to the nail and/or putting enough glue in them. The first set I put on I did not put enough glue and they were falling off within a day. Once I mastered the glue only one falls off every few days or so. I was surprised how my kitten in the beginning didn't even care these were on. Very happy with them. I highly recommend these!

Fabulous product
Posted by Bernard on 19th Jul 2016
I just fitted our 2 1/2 year old kitten with blue soft paws, and I am highly impressed with the results. He adjusted to the soft paws in a few hours. I did have to replace two of the nail caps within the first couple of days, and I believe that I had not used a sufficient amount of adhesive. No issues since. My wife wanted to have our cat, Patrick, declawed, but after showing her a few illustrations of the declawing procedure, she agreed with the soft paws solution. Patrick will be wearing soft paws forever.

Not sure
Posted by lynn on 15th Jul 2016
I bought a set for kittens. As expected they didn't stay on the first round for maybe a day. I expected this and wrote it off as a learning experience since rid was my first time and I wasn't sure if I got enough glue in them. I tried replacing them and made sure this time I had plenty of glue I them. Some still came off. I will continue trying but concern why they keep coming off.

I love that my kittens can be inside and not tear up the furniture or my hands!

Learning Process
Posted by Lynn on 11th Jul 2016
I like the product but with the color caps it was hard to tell how much glue I was inserting into the caps and I got more glue on my fingers than in the caps and thus they didn't last long on their nails. It was my first time so it was a learning experience. I will continue to work with it as I believe this is a great alternative versus declawing if I can get them to stay on. I would suggest if it's your first time using that you purchase the clear caps first so you can see how much clue you are getting into the caps.

Kitten size is too big
Posted by MeKai on 5th Jul 2016
I ordered the kitten size and it was way too big for my 8 week old kitten. There should be a note on it on the website. Also my kitten was much harder to hold still to try to put these on.

Waste of money.

They are very easy to put on and painless. But cats get them off very easily. I keep finding them around my house.

They are alright

They fall off much quicker than they should. They cost more than the ones at my local Petsmart. They fit great, which is the only reason I gave three stars.
