Each Soft Paws® kit contains 40 nail caps, 2 tubes of adhesive, applicator tips, and easy-to-follow instructions. One kit contains enough for 4 front paw applications and each application lasts approximately 4 to 6 weeks, which makes each kit lasts approximately 4 to 6 months.

Kitten Size: (Less than 6 months old)

Soft Paws will fit most kittens by the time they reach the age of 16 weeks (4 months). Some kittens can wear them as early as age 12 weeks (3 months) . To test, try a nail cap on first without the adhesive. If it looks too big, don't glue it on. The nail cap should fit snugly, like a glove, but not cover the cuticle.

To accommodate smaller kittens, you can trim the base of the nail cap, making it smaller so it will fit your kitten's nail.

The kitten size generally fits kittens up to about 5 pounds and about 5 months of age.

great alternative to declawing

These are great! I'm so glad I don't have to declaw my cat. These just slide right on and they stay on until my cats shed their claws, it's perfect. And it's so cute that u can get different colors!

I have an orange tabby kitten. I got him from the shelter, but his age wasn't known to me. The vet had said he was around 10 weeks, so I bought the kitten size in blue. They kept him from tearing our skin and furniture. They're also extrmely cute and easy to put on. They come with a lot, so if one happens to fall off, I can usually find and put the same one on, or I can put on the new one. I definitely recommend; and I will be re-purchasing soon!

We recently adopted two kittens. I had also recently purchased a new leather sectional sofa. The shelter recommended Soft Paws so I figured it was worth a try. They have saved my furniture. The kittens are small so I have had to trim them. I do have to check every day or so to see if any have fallen off. I am hoping they stay on better as they grow.

These convient claw covers do a good job, honestly they do. But you might find your cats still kneeding on surfaces that can readily pop them off. The adhesive is good, but not like super glue, nor do I think it should be. Just once popped off, its almost impossible to reuse. And while you get a couple extra, this pack, seems like you could get double the amount and still need to replace them almost every 6 weeks or so. Not only do their nails grow and pop them off, but the cats jumping still reduce the chances of them staying on the back paws. I have two kittens who do mind them at all, but they constantly shed the claw covers. Its frustrating and funny at the same time....but for almost 20bucks plus shipping it seems still an expensive alternative. I wish they gave discounts or coupons for returning customers.

She doesn't mind them and they save our furniture and hands! Not to mention the way they sound on bare floor is so adorable. Just make sure you don't let the glue dry when the nail is only part of the way on because you won't be able to fix uneven nails. I'm sure it's very uncomfortable for them to walk like that.. Otherwise, I'm am buying a size bigger now that she has grown!

I have a 4 month old kitten, we got the soft paws about a week ago and have gone through almost all the caps. I trimmed them too but they just keep falling off. The ones for my dog always worked well, so not sure what's going on with the cat ones.

We've used similar products before from another company that imported theirs. What upset me was that the tubes of glue would either be dried up or defective. and they wouldn't respond to comments. So now we'll be using Soft Paws instead.

I wasn't sure if my 4 month old little monsters would tolerate the soft paws well but they adjusted immediately. The soft paws product is saving my shower curtain, my couch, my clothes, and my skin :) So glad it worked so well!
