Each Soft Paws® kit contains 40 nail caps, 2 tubes of adhesive, applicator tips, and easy-to-follow instructions. One kit contains enough for 4 front paw applications and each application lasts approximately 4 to 6 weeks, which makes each kit lasts approximately 4 to 6 months.

Kitten Size: (Less than 6 months old)

Soft Paws will fit most kittens by the time they reach the age of 16 weeks (4 months). Some kittens can wear them as early as age 12 weeks (3 months) . To test, try a nail cap on first without the adhesive. If it looks too big, don't glue it on. The nail cap should fit snugly, like a glove, but not cover the cuticle.

To accommodate smaller kittens, you can trim the base of the nail cap, making it smaller so it will fit your kitten's nail.

The kitten size generally fits kittens up to about 5 pounds and about 5 months of age.

KITTEN SOFT PAWS ARE FALLING OFF WITHIN 2 DAYS OF PUTTING THEM ON HER.. ANY ADVICE??

These caps do not last me 4 to 6 weeks, but more like 4 to 6 days. I bought these about a month ago, and every few days I have to apply a new cap to a different claw and I have run out of applicator tips and glue because they fall off so often.

I absolutely am in love with soft paws! I just wish there were more color choices for the kitten sizes!
Way too big

These caps are way too big for my 10-week-old kitten. I was only able to get two of the smallest size caps on his two biggest nails (not very well), and they fell off within an hour. I followed the instructions that came with the kit (didn't cut his nails, just applied them straight on, as it states to do with kittens), and they were still way too big for his nails. It might be a little bit easier to match the caps appropriately with the correct nail if they came organized by size (they were all just scattered throughout the kit, which made it difficult to figure out which size correlated with the appropriate nail). I plan to try this again one more time in about another week, but I don't have very high hopes for this product. I had the vet trim his nails last week as a quick fix for his extra-sharp nails, which made a world of a difference. I'd suggest trying this first if you're comfortable cutting your cat's nails before trying this product.

Fantastic product. I wasn't expecting the claw covers to work so well. I have a 4 month old Bengal kitten and she doesn't mind having the claw covers on at all. Applying the glue and cap to the claws for the first time I got some glue on the toe fur which wasn't a big deal. Second application was easy. This is such a great product if you want to protect your furniture etc. Definitley way better than declawing !

They were a little challenging to get on because my cat all of a sudden developed a dislike of having his paws touched, but once they were on he seems like he doesn't even know they're on. Which is great! We can play with him safely now and our clothing and furniture are forever scratch free. So happy I purchased these!
Seem a bit small...

I ordered a pack of the blue/pink combo for our 2 kittens, a maine coon girl and a sphynx boy, both 12-13 weeks at the moment. First, I found the kitten size did not fit all the way on to their nails. Second, I'm not sure if it's because the kitten size doesn't have the CLS, they seem to come off within a day or 2. The cats actually don't seem to mind/notice them at all, but I often find one that has been dislodged next to a scratching post.

Besides those 2 issues, I like them. They are pretty easy to put on (do it when they're sleeping) and have saved me from a few scratches already. I ordered some in the small size, I am hoping these fit better and stay on longer.

this product is a great alternative to declawing! It was easy to apply and my kitten adjusted immediately to having them on. I highly recommend this product to anyone and I will continue to purchase for my cat as she grows!

I was weary about the softpaws and many people told me that they would never stick. Truthfully Nimiq doesn't seem to have noticed them at all. He's a cuddly cat and I was able to stick them on his paws while he was asleep, He soon woke up and didn't seem to notice or care. He plays like always (although he did have to adjust his jumping now that he cant grip with his nails) and is now happier because I will let him attack my arm with no fera of getting scratched up! All in all I'm super happy about the softpaws and will be repurchasing for sure!
