11. Wear Gloves!

    This is by far the best glue there is as far as its hold. I've used it before and learned the hard way to wear disposable gloves when applying this product, I glued my fingers together. So, it is the best, treat it with respect.

    The adhesive works great and with the little applicator addition leaves little room for mess.

    I've used Softpaws on two of my cats for several years now. The product is great, but the glue tends to thicken and eventually dries out too fast. I have a container full of the actual caps that outlived the glue, so I have started ordering extra glue. The Softpaws themselves are amazing and have saved my furniture and rugs from destruction.

    I'm glad there's refills available. Does its job. I just wish there was enough glue provided in the original kit to not require refills.

15. Hard to get the right amount

    The tubes are easy to open and the glue is easy to apply into the nail, but if you get too little into the nail (and nothing says how much to apply) the nails come off very easily. If you get too much, the nails will break, with half stuck to the dog's claw.

    Doesn't bother my cat at all. It's totally safe. I don't usually use tip applicator. It's easy enough to cut the top at an angle and squirt a couple of drops into the nail. I wrap the top with Glad Press & Seal, and put the cap back on. Then cut the top slightly when I want to apply nail replacements again.

18. OK but glue does not last

    The squeeze bottle is too hard to advance the glue into the applicator. The bottle is a good fit for for the applicator however.

    This product ensures that the soft paw cover adheres to the cats' nail. Thereby ensuring that my furniture is not destroyed.

20. Good Glue

    I needed extra glue as I am learning how to attach the Soft Paws and some fall off, or I find that I can only use the glue once before it hardens in the tube.
