  1. PROVIDES TRACTION, PROTECTS FLOORS

Posted by Laura on 13th Jan 2016

Originally got soft paws for my kitties years ago, but I recently adopted a dog (boxer lab mix) who goes from 0 to 60 in less than a second. She would slide all over the hardwood and was scratching my floors. The soft paws are protecting the floor, providing her with traction, and I've noticed that I hear much less click click click when she's up walking around. She doesn't mind them at all. I've noticed that they stay on much longer when I prep each claw with alcohol prior to putting them on her. They're great!

  2. Protects the floors, but very loud

Posted by Unknown on 18th Nov 2015

Just put these on my 2 senior lab-mix girls for the first time 10 days ago. They each weigh about 46 lbs and I bought the XXL per instructions. I had to trim the length for the back nails to keep them from bumping up against the cuticle/pad, but the girth was correct in all cases. Easy to apply. Trimmed nails with my dremel first - a routine they're used to - then wiped dust with alcohol swab and applied nail covers with included superglue. Wish I'd thought to trim paw hair first since it was a scramble to keep the hair out of the way, but oh well. Next time. Neither girl seems to have even noticed them. No licking at paws or trying to chew them off yet. They look a little silly, but they do seem to be keeping the wood floors from being carved up. One note: these don't quiet the click clack of nails on hardwood; they, unfortunately, amplify the sound. It's been like giving them tap shoes to walk in, especially when they get up for water in the middle of the night. It's possible the noise factor could be a deal breaker, but hoping I'll get used to it.

  3. Small for XXL

Posted by Unknown on 16th Nov 2015

There is such a huge size difference between the XXL and jumbo. I have an 80 lb. female doberman and the Jumbo are too large and the XXL are way too small. I have read someone else's review regarding this same issue. I wish soft paws would correct this.

  4. Saved my brand new harwoods

Posted by Todd Devine on 31st Jul 2015

This product is unbelievable. I just had my hardwoods refinished. Spent a lot of money. Had 4 protective coats put down. They assured me would keep floors from scratching. Before they left already had scratches. I ordered your Soft Paws. Came next day. Saved me and my floors.

  5. Great Product

SoftPaws have been life savers to our hardwood floors. Also our dog has skin irritation and SoftPaws keeps her from scratching her skin raw.

  6. Still really loud

Posted by kurt eisenburger on 12th May 2015

Unfortunately I found the products to be a waste of time in the noise department! My dogs nails are so loud on hard surfaces and these provided no solace!

  7. pretty good..

so far, no damage to my hardwoods - but i wish they stayed on better.

  8. "Storms Terrors terrorize pet and pet terrorizes his mom!"

Posted by Donna LaCava on 28th Apr 2015

My pet Echo has THE WORST storm terrors, I've ever encountered with a pet, he'd literally tried to get under my skin, tearing me to pieces, if I wasn't home, he'd literally rearrange the place. Tearing up door casements, pulling everything out of a closet! It was MISERABLE for him and me. Soft Paws along with his storm jacket and sting anxiety medicine make livable at times of rain, lighting, thunder and loud sounds. I'm SOOO happy to have found "Soft Paws"

  9. Works great

Posted by Unknown on 12th Apr 2015

Easy to apply, My Maggie doesn't seem to mind them at all! Make sure to use the sizing chart and order a size up if your dogs nails are between sizes. That being said, they had no problem exchanging the softpaws because I ordered too small. The only drawback is the little tap tap tap she makes when she runs across floor.

  10. Protect your hardwood floors

Posted by Debi on 19th Mar 2015

Our 75 LB American Bulldog is a rescue dog, she frequently is frightened and "peels out" on the hardwoods to escape!. We saw a cat with these nail covers on and thought that there must be something for dogs. SOFT PAWS was our answer. We have been using them for several years. Occasionally one pops off but another is easily applied. It is fun to change the color of her nails for different holidays.
