1. So far so good!

   We just put them on yesterday and the process was super easy! My dog doesn't seem to notice them and in addition to eliminating his nails scratching the wood floors, they seem to give him a little more traction. If they hold up like they say, these will be a permanent addition to our dog care regimen!

   Our two golden retrievers had destroyed our wooden floors. After getting them refinished we were determined to find something to eliminate or minimize the scratching their claws could cause. Soft Paws has worked remarkably well in this regard.

   Our 40lb Husky digs her claws in when she jumps on you and it's been leaving cuts THROUGH clothing so we were so excited to find nail caps like the ones we have on our cat. She did fine putting them on and adjusted quickly. Everyone comments on her cute nails and we have some much-needed relief while we curb her jumping habit! They have lasted almost a month and a half on a very active and fearless Husky (swimming, hiking, etc multiple miles every day). Her back nail caps came off very quickly but we weren't upset because it was her front ones we were trying to dull. Once the last two caps on her front paws come off, we're going to apple the second set most likely only on her front so we can stretch it out. They are also easy to trim once the nails grow out. Definitely going to order again!

   These fit great (XXL for 70lb female lab mix) & helped my 14 year old walk more steadily on our laminate floor.

5. Saved our Cherry Floors

   We have Cherry hardwood floors and a 55lb yellow Lab. The soft paws have helped tremendously, since having our floors refinished. However, every once in awhile they leave "plastic" marks when our Lab spins her wheels on our floors.

   My dog drags her paws and wears off her toe nails until they bleed. I had tried everything and soft paws worked. I love them and I am sure Molly does too!

7. Not What I Needed

   I did not purchase this to protect my floors and wood from the dog's claws, but to protect his nails from the concrete and help with traction on slick floors. Due to health issues, my dog drops his feet when walking and has trouble getting up. The covers have protected his front nails fairly well, but as his nails have grown and the covers have not come off, it has made it more difficult for him to walk. I can clip through the product, but hesitate to do much as I cannot see the quick. Since it has not helped with traction, I will not be putting on the back paws again. I may redo the front ones, though. I just wish it has helped with traction.

   My Golden's middle back nails on both paws were continually getting worn down by the concrete walk way in our back yard. His two middle nails on each paw started to bleed. We tried boots but he hated wearing them and they made him unstable when walking.
   We decided to give these nail covers a try. The adhesive is strong and the covers are staying on and not wearing down quickly. I was concerned he might have trouble walking but he doesn't even notice the nail covers are on. I've noticed his nails have started to grow back as well. I highly recommend these nail covers.

9. Works for my intended purpose

   I recently had my century old floors refinished to sell our home. I purchased Soft Paws to prevent my Sheepadoole from scratching the refinished floors. With them on she has no impact on the floor, which was the goal. I would like to suggest that the caps for the larger dogs be wider, making them easier to attach and to utilize the full cap. I do not see the caps lasting 12 weeks, because they only cover a third of the nail due the width of the nail..
   
   Note from Soft Paws: Thanks for the review, and we're so glad Soft Paws are helping to protect your floors. Individual dogs' claws can differ in width. If you are finding that the XXL are not wide enough for your dog, you might wish to try the next size up, Jumbo. Also, if you find your dog's claws are too wide at the base for the size Soft Paws you have, you can trim the open end of the caps down, which widens the opening and can allow them to slip over wider claws better.

10. Saved our Hardwood!

    I have a standard poodle who was scratching the new hardwood, when he took off excitedly (even with well groomed nails). Soft Paws (xxl) appear to be the answer to our problem! I do wish there was a supplier in Canada though.
